SKI SCHOOL
Under the direction of World Cup Slalom racer, Martial Donnet, the Swiss Ski & Snowboard School in Morgins has around 30 qualified ski instructors. In addition to its regular instructors, the Swiss Ski & SNowboard School has employed several instructors specifically for Ski Morgins. These instructors will be responsible for Ski Morgins’ group and private tuition. They have had many years experience in ski teaching and will be on hand to discuss your requirements for ski school or private tuition, give advice and ensure that your skiing improves as rapidly as you would wish!

The ESS offers two basic choices for skiers: collective ski & snowboard school or private instruction.
 
Collective Ski School
Collective ski school starts on Sunday and the meeting point for beginners (levels 1 & 2) is at 09h30 on the “File Neige” nursery slope next to the "Geant" lift at the top of the village and at 09h45 at the top of the Foilleuse chair lift for all other ability levels. The class size is normally 8 - 10 people and most of the instructors speak English. Ski School takes place from Sunday through to Wednesday morning from 09h45 - 12h00 and on Thursday from 09h45 - 15h00. The cost for the 6 x 2 hour sessions includes the “Swiss Snow League” test, medal and card.
Collective ski school is particularly suited to beginners and lower intermediates, especially if you are with a group of friends. We recommend that beginners take the full 6 sessions. It is always important to gain a good grounding when learning any sport and skiing is no exception; once bad habits have been established it is very difficult to eradicate them later.

Private Lessons
We have a small, dedicated team of ESS ski instructors who look after our guests’ private lesson requirements. The instructors are qualified to an international standard and are fluent English speakers. There are many advantages to taking private lessons: our instructors are very experienced in improving technique, installing confidence and developing skills to enable recreational skiers to make the most out of the slopes and enjoy the exhilaration and thrill of downhill skiing. It is evident from the amount of satisfied guests who return year after year that these highly skilled and professional instructors really do make all the difference!
Private lessons can be booked anytime between 08h30 - 15h30 depending on the availability of the instructors; mornings can sometimes be difficult, especially in peak season as the instructors may be involved with ESS group ski school. Instructors can be booked on an hourly, half day or daily basis and instructors will take up to 4 people at a time but most benefit is gained by keeping the groups small. This season, several instructors are offering private tuition with video analysis on a half day or daily basis. Private lessons are suitable for all abilities and the 1:1 tuition is a major advantage particularly for beginners and skiers who wish to work on a specific problem or learn new skills.
